Back to my childhood!

No, I didn’t live in a black house but the smell of the peat smoke took me back to sitting in the farm at Ardachy on Mull!
Another fabulous day on Lewis. Mr Mags had a great game of golf while Mr R and I visited the black house and the Butt if Lewis lighthouse (see extras). We also visited an Iron Age broch and the memorial to the men who lost their lives on the Iolaire in 1919. A heart wrenching story and worth a read if you don’t know about it
