Grey Heron

Another smasher of a day, wall to wall sunshine.  Washing done and dried outside, ironing done also.

On our walk this afternoon I (and others) spotted the grey heron which sometimes frequents the Rouken Glen pond.  He posed beautifully for us for some time, and I took quite a few pictures.  However, it was hard to get him with the water, as he was a way back from it.

Later, he flew to another part of the pond, and when we were passing there later I managed this grab shot, which is far better than the previous ones that I tried so hard to take.
