That’s a Big Branch!

A bit of nest building and a bit of flirting (extra) for this Grebe couple. 
Bizarrely there are very few birds at the Villeneuve hides. I’m wondering if they have migrated somewhere else as a Goshawk was seen swooping down over the lake and drowning a duck before swimming with the duck to the side and consuming it! A friend has photos of each stage of the attack!  The lake is also very low in this area at the moment too.
