Celebratory flower

Well today I have been blipping for 11 years and I was wondering what to photograph.  The morning started with a bright orange sunrise but I was still at home.  It quickly clouded over followed by sunny spells and I headed for Knighthayes Gardens which I haven't visited for sometime.

A large number of spring flowers were in bloom including cyclamen, fritillaries, magnolia, daffodils and tulips.  I had a lovely walk admiring the blooms and chose this delightful flower for my blip.  I'm not sure what it is though. It has been suggested it maybe an Erythronium species.

Although I have been blipping for 11 years I did take a break just to check that it hadn't become too compulsive and to assess what I wanted.  I found I missed seeing your journals and also find the diary aspects of keeping the journal useful for looking back on.  So, many thanks to the directors and additional staff who keep this friendly site up and running, those who run the challenges and of course all of you.
