Behind every ornament is a story

Let’s narrow it down a bit. A beach. Right…you’ve got it. (see extra).
 
I bought it some years ago while on holiday in Jamaica. The guy selling the shells operated from a rowing boat some distance from the private beach of the hotel where we were staying.  So I had to swim out to make the purchase.


Today its in our bathroom and i think of that warm day  with its dazzling blue skies when we are deep into a dark Scottish winter and i crawl out of bed to go to the bathroom on a dark wintry morning.
