Imaginations from the Other Side.

Two great walks to orientate myself back into work and check out what's new in the forest.
The Julia Donaldson offering for the summer is the Stick man trail, with lots of activities for young families. So many stick men have been made and taken home, it's getting quite difficult to find a stick at all in some parts of the woods!
On the other side of the valley the path around Sanderson Gill has been opened up for All-terrain mobility vehicles. It also pairs up with the brown running route and the  Wallace and Gromit dog-walking route, so every now and again there's Wallace peering around a tree or Gromit looking quizzical  beside the stream. They're a far cry from West Wallaby Street in Wigan!
Hello to the Camelids on the return journey. The alpacas seem perfectly happy with the fodder inside the fence. The lone lama though is convinced that grass really is greener on the other side. Whether that is justified by his Obama political musings, or by his Dalai spiritual exercises, he has to stick his neck out or levitate to get at it.
