One of those days where everything that can goes wrong does go wrong... In the extra is a tire where the recap came off. Although I was able to get it into a rest area - being in the middle of nowhere means it will be 4 hours before someone can replace the tire. Back before mobile phones, I always had a newspaper or magazine to pass the time, today though, I am watching videos and...

Sitting here with an obvious bad tire, I have had people come up to me asking if I was okay or needed anything - being an over the road driver for so many years, and now diabetic - I always have food and medication with me just in case. Well a few minutes ago a couple from California approached me with water, protein and not shown crackers - with everything going on in this country let alone in this world - a few random acts of kindness just really makes my day
