Playing life by ear.

Color.

There was unexpected colour among fellow train passengers today in an otherwise uneventful journey to the countryside.
I was laden down with my new battery saw, batteries and estensione pole,  plus food, water etc.  About six or seven kilos in all.
On my way I met the terrible twins. They are about six months old now, black with whitish paws and wavy fur.
They don't know quite how to behave yet, but are friendly. I want to be friends with the two gorgeous border collie pups also because when the winter comes again, assuming I am still alive and in good walking order, I don't  relish the idea of meeting them in the dark and they not knowing who I am.
The battery saw worked ok. I was able to slice up a load of fig tree branches  sawn
off the fig tree two weeks ago.
I can no longer do the amount of work that I used to do only a few years ago.
Next time I will stay overnight to lengthen the stay and make it less tiring.
