Honeybees' Delight...

The Western Honeybees aka European Honey Bees, were all over the Spiderwort this morning, like white-on-rice! See the *extras...for two more photos. Photo on the bottom also offers a Common Pill Woodlouse aka 'Roly-poly', in addition to the bee. Sadly, about an hour after I took these photo, a man brought a tractor and mowed down all of the Spiderwort. Very sad. Thankfully there is a lot more of it in our yard and all over the neighborhood!
 I've read several articles lately about the decline in both Honeybees and Bumblebees. Just a reminder...we need Bees to pollinate our fruit and veggie crops. And the Bees could use a little help from us as well. Here's some info on what you can do to help the Bees:
