Dissatisfied...

A lovely day for a stroll around Hampton Court. The gardens are in a bit of a transitional phase with the daffodils coming to an end and the tulips getting into their stride.

I ended up with a couple of hundred photos, but when I loaded them onto the laptop I just felt very disappointed. I've said before that I don't really like my new macro lens, and today just reinforced that feeling. I might be that my technique with the fancy pants focussing in the R7 is not up to scratch, but I just ended up with a load of stuff that looks ok but no better. So here you have a few bluebells, which are amongst my favourite flowers and are the first I've seen this year, and some tulips, which looked stunning - just not in this picture :-(
