The day

Was sunny and warm.  This is the path near Bowness Knot; a favourite of mine since I took a photo of my daughter sitting on cut logs waiting transportation to (possibly)Holman in Workington.  Those logs are long gone as is the wood they were cut from.  Looking at woodlands was why I was there' following on from the last camera club talk.  Those trees have been thinned.  I remember rowan trees  (Mountain Ash) by the score next to the path.  Some are still there.
Yesterday during our chat at the hotel I am grateful to By Brian for reminding me how to get a sun burst.  Cheers mate-something I haven't done for a while.  What a day for taking photos, but memories were never far away; pushchair pushing comes to mind and slow walks with daughter.  Still a great day nevertheless.
 Have a good weekend.
