Tuesday ~ Polesden Lacey

I took the boys to this NT place and to do the Easter hunt.  O had great fun doing all the activities and went at each one with gusto.  We stopped for a play in the play area half way round.  I didn’t realise at each stop there was a letter to make an anagram.  When I made a comment out loud towards the end a little girl with her grandma said “we’ve written them down so you can too”.  I took a photo and thanked them.  The anagram was fairground and I told O as we neared the kiosk he asked me what it was again so he could tell the man.  ‘It’s fairground’ he announced proudly.  He got a little Easter egg that he would later share with H.  H needs to start walking as he wasn’t so happy sitting in his pushchair and had a couple of paddies when he couldn’t join in.  I did have him out a couple of times but he’s too heavy to carry for too long lol.  Lunch at the cafe before heading back.

Our friends J&S joined us at quiz.  They are going to become grandparents in September for the first time. Exciting.

(I left my iPad at Sims so had to wait to pick it up to make collage lol).
