Sunrise

……………………………………before an early morning sea swim with friends, though I’ll admit to only paddling in to waist height! It was about 5 degrees at 7.30 this morning and the North Sea was perishing…a very invigorating way to start the day!

This afternoon it was over the river again to pick the wee one up, it was marginally warmer but not much. New shoes (see 2nd extra) for one of us on the way back to the car and as I looked through his school bag whilst waiting our turn in the shoe shop I found a card (1st extra) he’d made for me at school…a flower from my little flower! Dropped him at his other grandparents and enjoying a quiet evening now.
