Still alive
An awful highly emotional night!
Fletch woke me up at 3am having what appears to be a seizure. He was distressed and hot and appeared disorientated.
I carried him outside into the cool air. At first he couldn't walk properly and was staggering. But within a few minutes he was walking more normally. He had a walk around the garden, then into the kitchen, stretched out on his bed and fell asleep.
His breath was so quiet and he was so still I was afraid it was his time to go.
I lay by the side of him for an hour stroking him. Finally M persuaded me to come to bed as it was gone 4am.
I lay there and sobbed.
I must have drifted to sleep but was woken by the sound of Fletch drinking water before coming to the stairs. I carried him up to our bed where he felt asleep and began snoring quite peacefully!
This morning he woke up and seemed perfectly normal. I am an emotional wreck!
I am also hugely relieved. At 14 and a half we know his time left with us may be short but I'm so glad he's still with us.
Ill book an appointment with the vet for a check up
The sun was shining and we had a gentle stroll along Channelside.
An early night tonight
