Dolly's Day

Early Dog Violet

Had a very productive trip to Newcastle this afternoon. First stop was Superdrug to drop off a carrier bag full of blister packs.

Then to my bank. I needed to do two bank transfers. One was to pay The Cat Ladies for when they look after Tino and Lily when I'm on holiday later this month. The amount was £300 and the cashier was able to it immediately.  The other transfer was for a larger amount so I had to go into a side room and was asked questions by another cashier about who the payment was for, could it be a scam... was I being forced into paying someone.  I was able to reassure the cashier that all was OK.  After getting that out of the way I asked about online banking.  I already had the app - I just needed to finish off setting up my account.  The cashier helped me with that and I'm now  off and running.

Next stop was Marks and Spencers where I bought a pair of trousers.  I don't often buy trousers as I find it difficult to get any that fit properly.  The legs are always too long.  Luckily M & S had some in my size which were short length.  And I got  20% discount using my Sparks card.

Next stop Tesco for some food shopping before getting the bus home.

Got my blip shot in the front garden before I went indoors.  Lots of these tiny Early Dog Violets have recently opened.  Had to crouch down really low to get my shot.  Thanks to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday.

It was another bright and dry day but quite chilly at times.
