I succumbed to the offer of an avatar of Dog. I must have lost the plot!the avatar is way more handsome that the real thing! 

WFH today, but when Ann put a message on the group chat that she was going to Costa for some much needed coffee, I took a break and joined her. I offloaded about lonely birthdays (she has 4 daughters who all still live close by) but still understands the different occasions that are just wrong without your partner, and she offloaded about a certain son in law. 
Coffee frappe and a free birthday sweet treat and home to face all the teachers who had realised it was end of term and they’d not booked their trips. I told 9 schools the same 5 available dates, so it will be first come first served!
