i wasn’t going for - an avant-garde style or - anything just something unusual - for flowerfriday as well as - to pay homage to an artist - friend of mine who is - no longer with us - he was certainly one of - a kind with his skill and talent - i am fortunate to have - two of his pieces - of art hanging in my house - they remind me not - only of him but - of the interest he took - in the beauty which - surrounded him every day - on this planet - how he was able to portray - that beauty out of - simple recycled items - like magazines and newspapers

if you look closely - you will see how each - petal and leaf - the cup and the background - has words on it - this is because care was - taken to find the most - appropriate shading, blending and coloring - possible then placing it - as if it was painted on - this was no easy task - taking time and patience - for he was very meticulous - with each piece he produced - but as you can see - truly a work of art - and i thought a fun way - to showcase flowerfriday - leading us all towards…
