Behind the scenes at the wedding reception

A lovely evening at the "wedding"/renewal of vows of N&H. They eloped five years ago during Covid but really wanted to have a wedding ceremony as well, so that - after other complications with jobs and family health - happened tonight. It was a beautiful ceremony, heartfelt and moving and with an emphasis on family and community. We've known H and her family since they moved here, shortly after we did ourselves, nearly 20 years ago. Her dad is the owner of Steinway up the hill. H is a nurse in Charlottesville, so we see her sometimes when down that way.
