A Perfect Birthday

Had a great day.
2(!) Birthday cakes, one at school followed by a round of Happy Birthday in Spanish of course, (Feliz Cumpleanos) by all the staff and students, then another one at our Quito home PLUS a glass of wine :-)
After a delicious dinner of burritos we went into the Old Town with Hipatia (our host) and Angie ( her daughter), everywhere is very lively particularly down one street, La Ronda, where the traditional drink is canelazo (sugarcane alcohol, hot cider and cinnamon) - yum.
