Triathalon

There's something about farmer's markets & me that just doesn't seem to go together! The last time I went I had quite the adventure; I decided to go this morning again, got in the car, & couldn't get out of my neighborhood! Every single main road was barricaded off! At the first barricade, I just thought they were doing road repairs, & the car ahead of me pulled around them, & so I did too, only to hear "Stop! Stop! Stop!" (where the policeman came from I'll never know, because I sure hadn't seen him anywhere) He said "You can't drive through here, there's a triathalon today & the bikers are coming through soon". So I asked if I could just drive down to the corner so I could get out--"no". I asked, can I drive up a block & get off this road & go out on KK--"no". So I turned around & went back home. I don't know how they can barricade in a whole neighborhood without notifying anyone in advance, & I told him that, not that he appeared to care. So...I made the best of it & did what any blipper would do---grabbed the camera & walked over to get some pics. I haven't ever done this type of picture before, so if anyone has any suggestions I'd be grateful! I was focusing on the biker in green, slowed the shutter speed so I'd get movement & panned the camera as I took it. I liked this one best, even though the biker in red is blurry. I thought it added to the sense of action.:)
