Book club trip

My book club read Castle in the Air by Judy Corbett a few months ago, about the purchase and restoration of a castle in Wales. We loved it and found that as part of their ongoing renovation project and fundraising efforts they are open to the public and you can stay there. So we booked a tour followed by tea and cake, taken round by the owner and author. It was a beautiful day and a wonderful visit. The couple do everything and are passionate and committed to the castle. It’s incredible to see what they’ve achieved. We loved it. I’m definitely returning and hope to stay there next time. Well worth a visit.
