Tulips

Spotted these in our garden when returning from our my Photo-club monthly coffee morning. One of several splashes of colour from spring bulbs. I am trying (and failing) to create large drifts of bulbs in areas of the garden, but they rarely survive more than a couple of years or deliver blazing colour one year and are blind the next, despite tender loving care being lavished on them. 

Coffee morning was good, we put the world to right and it was great to catch up with a former member who visited us.
