Rock Hound Surprises

A gentle morning of tea and crumpets in pj’s, then we got ourselves together to head North. We started with a cuppa in Cupar, then headed to a farmland area known for agates. We were very sceptical that we were going to find any. But turns out the plough lines and the edge of the fields had plenty! After sorting through our bulging pockets for keepers and returners, we still couldn’t quite believe our luck. We did smash two with a hammer to see what that revealed (not much it turns out, but it was fun ;). A pretty woodland walk at Eden Springs, then a stop off at Elie for a walk on the beach, meant it was another wonderful ladies day.
