Carmen...... just wow

I've always enjoyed the music from "Carmen" but the latest production at Covent Garden is extra special

The Russian mezzo- soprano, Aigul Akhmetshina,  in the title role is exceptional and has redefined the role.

Freddie di Tomasso is Don Jose. He has a terrific voice.

This is a version not to be missed. If you can't get tickets, maybe the cinema ?......
