A busy morning. Jane and Emma are here for the weekend and they did lots of useful jobs for me. One was to dig out a massive hosta, split it and replant a small bit.
In the afternoon I stayed at home to relax then cook tea while they went to Rydal Water for a swim. I decided to attempt one of Emma’s KS2 sample SATS papers . . . English Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling. Harder than I expected and I may have uttered a few swear words! I haven’t a clue what the present perfect progressive tense, a relative clause or prepositional phrase are.
The sun had gone off the garden when I realised I had no blip. I headed straight to these yellow flowers only to find that some have been nibbled.
Sorry, there’s no chance of me having time to look at journals tonight.
