Snock Shock

Via Dundee, news has just filtered through to Creel HQ that our pal Snock died in Oregon on 1st April.    I once travelled south to see Snock on his eponymous appearance at Edinburgh's Bongo Club.  I picked up Peter in Aberdeen and Stuart in Dundee.  Snocko was due on stage at 9.00 pm.  He came on stage at a quarter past midnight.  At the time l stayed 20 miles north of Aberdeen.   I got home at 05.15 and had an hour's sleep before travelling into Aberdeen for work.  It was well worth it.  For reasons best known to the Archivist there are approx 25 of his albums in the Creel Shack.  He was also a poet and exhibiting painter.  The opposite end of the plectrum to stadium rock. 

In other news l assembled a mower, a lifetime first.  CMC had a big red up of old Hoy Kirk paperwork.
