Parents Day at Wageningen University

Martine and I drove to Wageningen for the parents day. Nienke was there too of course and today we had the chance to see where she is studying and the sort of subjects she takes.

We had a lecture about thermal regulation and we saw the lab where we were taught about skulls and about animal reproduction.

From this last subject is today’s image. It’s a look through the microscope, where we see pig ovulatory follicles.

All very interesting and we had a great day. Afterwards, Nienke drove back home with us.
