Doggies!

Two hikes today with MS, first at Brecksville on the Wildflower and Gorge Loops.  Doggies met there are shown in the extra.  Loki (terrier mix, rescue), names unknown (Collie, bred and Shelty, rescue), and Rocco (rescue puppy).  Poor Rosco couldn't stop shaking he was so afraid.  More on that in a minute.

Main photo is at Astorhurst in Bedford Reservation.  Note the two male cardinals in the brush.  The small pit mix on the left is a rescue and very protective of its human.  The two on the right were happy to take several treats.

We heard three stories today about how their rescues were affected.  Several organizations are trying to shut down the many puppy mills nationwide.  Amish puppy mills are especially prevalent in Ohio.
