Hellebore

This was a hellebore in the vase for my daughters bedroom last weekend. She brought it down and laid it on the table where its petals just flopped open like this. Now it has dried and I rather love it. It has found a new home where we can admire it. Pretty though.. 
Today has been sorting through and measuring more artworks.. ordering wrappings and frames and my wonderful husband has cut the mount mats.. still to be cut to size internally. My brain felt rather frazzled and so I went outside with some loppers and cut down a few things that needed pruning!!  Felt much better after that!
It has been wall to wall sunshine but with a thin cold wind so I was happy to be indoors for a lot of the day.  More things in blossom in the garden.. so lovely but the cherry was scattering petals today.. at least I have a lovely record of it on here :)
