Easter prep

I am in the process of organising an Easter walkthrough of the last few days of Jesus's life. I have printed out the story from Luke's gospel. Trying to also go into a bit of depth and mention references to prophecy and also meanings of different rituals etc. 
I love this kind of research stuff and my new church is really embracing it.
Thankfully my housemate is a) creative and b) she really gets this too. 

Today we joined the church art group (made up of a lot of the older members of the church and local groups) that meets once a month to work on their own projects. It was so much fun because we were able to set up a group activity for people to do. This was for something for people to takeaway with them after they have visited the space. A powerful quote backed onto a painted piece of card work a cross on it. Very pretty.

This is my suitcase full of random bits ready for set up in a week or so's time! It includes battery powered candles, pegs, paper, candle holders, an artificial olive branch and a mini shredder. As well as tons of coloured material. 

I love this sort of thing.
