A walk by the river

Another very sunny and warm day.  I dropped my husband off at the train station and then met up with a friend for a chat about an upcoming trip we are hoping to make. 

Later in the afternoon my husband returned and was happy to come out for a late afternoon walk to the beach and then up along the river.  The tide was out and we didn't see that many birds around but we did watch as a swan slowly glided downstream.  Some fairly large fish were also seen heading in the same direction.  A glorious spring day
