Back to work

Well the last few days have been a disaster with weather so it was very nice to be back on the pass earning a living again today.

Interesting day - one crash - a couple on a bike taken out by a trial bike. They went down like a ton of bricks eventually - they kinda tottered before going over.

Nothing really that interesting out today, apart from a couple of German Army WW2 wagon things (bit like the VW Thing), one in army colours and one in Luftwaffe colours - with occupants of both dressed in the suitable attire (Army and Luftwaffe uniforms).

Did manage to get a cyclist to burst into tears though - so that made my day. He really had had enough by corner 18, and didn't need any bad news - like how much further and how much more difficult it was going to get. Anyway, I told him straight how bad his situation was - and he blubbed away on his bike. Vowed to sell his bike once he got to the top.
