Red Admiral

This butterfly sat on my shoulder before settling a little on this flower (do I look like a plant?).
I looked it up in the nearest book I could find, just to make sure!
In an old Ladybird book, entitled "What To Look for in Summer", a beautifully illustrated volume first published in 1960, I found a very useful page on butterflies!
F was working on his old car this afternoon, with his friend and neighbour to help him along. They are trying to design a hood now, as the car is just about finished.
It seems very complicated!
