Sunday 6th April 2025... Junior parkrunday

5:15am alarm, I popped down to catch the Nudgee Runners before they set off for there run at 6:00am to say hello as I haven't been for weeks now, but I am hoping my knee behaves and I get back walking soon...
This morning I volunteered at Des Connor Junior parkrun for #241... I arrived super early so I could sit in my car and enjoy my coffee in peace... The RDs were already there setting up... I noticed there was a heavy dew...I went over at the required time, to collect a volunteer vest and a lanyard... Great group of volunteers, I'm just not regular enough volunteering there... 342 children participated... People that have been to Bushy parkrun in the UK say the start of Juniors is similar... I'm pleased I just do barcode scanning there... I'm back volunteering there in 2 weeks time...
