The Door of Life

Early this morning, my dear friend, Stephanie, died peacefully with her eldest daughter by her side.

The concept of a "spiritual door" at death, often used in religious and spiritual contexts, suggests  a transition to a new realm or state of existence after physical death, where consciousness continues, potentially in a spiritual or heavenly realm. 

I'm so glad that I got to visit my friend three weeks' ago.
Rest in peace, dear friend.

My grandson on his 22nd birthday yesterday. We celebrated on the lovely big terrace of my daughter's new home in a village called Jongny with views over the lake and mountains.  His cake was a Raspberry Mousse flavour and very light and delicious!
