Have a Heart

If ever you've adored a heart,
a huge herbaceous border heart,
you'll never see a truer heart,
a coolly blooming, bluer heart,
nor yet a sweeter, stranger heart,
than this, my neat hydrangea heart.

Bade our daughter farewell this morning, so made ourselves busy this afternoon working on my late mother's garden. It is hugely overgrown, so there's much more to be done, while the fair weather lasts. The hydrangeas are fantastic - blue on one side of the garden; pink on the other.
