Men came to look at the damp that showed its head when I was decorating the lounge. They decided that some re pointing needs doing. So I have to trim back the shrubs.
I tried to leave the front of the forsythia as it looks so lovely, and managed to prune just the bits nearer the wall. I couldn’t put all the flowering branches in the bin, so put a couple in an empty wine bottle.
