Happy Moments

Errington Wood

A new dog walk this afternoon, as recommended by one of the locals. It’s on the edge of / just above New Marske and about a 10 minute drive. Definitely got potential, although it was busy this afternoon being a super sunny Sunday afternoon. Families, kids on bikes etc.
As you can see from my blip, it’s quite high up and you get a great view of the landscape from the car park. (looks better large)

One way is the wind farm at Redcar; this direction is looking across towards Middlesbrough, specifically in view is Wilton International. It used to be ICI who was a huge employer in Teeside. It’s now a prime location for ‘energy-intensive’ businesses. I believe it was also known as The Enron Power Station at one point when they were involved.

I actually quite enjoy seeing the industrial landscape. So many blip opportunities.

Callum has been outside most of the day painting the new raised beds and spreading gravel around. Another delivery of topsoil for them tomorrow, and I do believe we are getting fairly close to being able to plant them :-)
