A Crack At The Nile, Maidstone

Another Sunday so another weekly food shop. This time we decided to get the ingredients for some new dishes we want to try out - so in no particular order we are going to make green tikka masala chickpeas with basmati rice, Sicilian-style cauliflower spaghetti and smoked haddock chowder. I'm intrigued to see how they will turn out.
On the way back home we stopped off in Maidstone to try and capture some images as the light was so good. With the main I loved this old window frame in the wall and how the strong sunshine created such strong shadows. The "Nile" graffiti also chimed with me as just across from this location flows another river, the Medway. The first extra, "White Square", was taken on the opposite side of the river. Again the shadows and stark light really struck me as arresting. With the final extra I was waiting to cross the road when this horse box drew alongside this very white car. I just loved the graphic elements of the lines and shapes.
