SUNNY SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

What a lovely afternoon, after a really lovely service , online, from St George's, wonderful hymns great sermon , the best I can remember hearing from this person, A arrived .
I hadn't a clue where he had booked for us to go to lunch. However it was in Braisted ( Kent UK) , The White Heart, I hadn't been there for about 4 years, like all pubs it had changed ever so slightly, since my last visit. We had a brilliant waiter so accommodating , as was the kitchen staff, I really find big meals now too much by far & A does too , but not as much as I do, we choose our meal & asked the waiter if we could share if it could plated as 1 third & 2 thirds , adaptability was forth coming in bucket fulls both for starter & main courses .We were very impressed with the service. Whilst it was a usual pub meal it was ace due to great attention.
The collage show the lovely country ride through Kent . Then a glimpse of food & the signature board of a few of the brave men involved in the Battle of Britain . Never in human conflict was so many owed so much by so few!
The building is very old & although rebuilding has been attempted on a few occasions , it sadley doesn't seem to made the look outside very inviting ( but guess that's another reason for entering with the WW2 in mind). The pub has a great spacious pretty garden , on a lovely day who wouldn't want to visit?
The drive home was wonderful too.
Thank you A.

HOPE YOUR SUNDAY HAD BEEN AS GOOD AS MINE FOLKS.
