Wildside Garden

Having spent the last two days in Exeter today we’ve driven across Dartmoor to Wildside garden. It started off as 4 acres of flat land that had been used for a cider orchard. It’s now an amazing garden that undulates and has lots of different plants to look at around every corner.

The garden had been started by Keith and his wife Ros. She has sadly passed away and Keith now manages the garden on his own. They are looking for volunteers. Sadly Nigel and I live too far away. See the extra for one of the views in the garden.

Ros had also been an artist and her paintings were on display in her studio. I found them very moving.

We were talking to some other people looking around the garden and they recommended a local pub. We’ve been there for a roast dinner and it was delicious.

Nigel is now looking at the many photos that he took while he tries to identify them all.

My image is a Ipheion.
