April Sunday

Rather a lazy Sunday, spent on some admin on the computer and later some work on finding additional songs for another gig on the fourteenth of Aparil in an old peoples home,. "Treatment home", as it's called here, translated into English. Another variation on whatshamacall it is "Older living",  that means a place where the elderly live, the ones that don't need constant treatment, as they do in the other place. Our care for the elderly is basically very good and humane but there has been a lot written about it since much of the care was privatised during the eighties and nineties. After that there has been a lot of scandals with mistreatment of the elderly, who are a very vulnerable group of people and lacks a collective voice. My contribution to their care is to give them some music as a way for them to be a bit active and to think about nicer things for an hour.

No sun today, apart from during the lasdt few hundred meters of my walk, when the sun came out below the sharp cloud edge a few centimeters over the horizon, which gave me a much appreciated long, thin shadow.
