The Garden of Singing Trees

This was a great day for the people of East Pollokshields as they celebrated the work which has been done to create a local recreational space for childrens play, events and a green space which can be developed further. This is the East Pollokshields Quad - The Garden of Singing Trees - which can be entered from Darnley Street or Kenmure Street. Adults and children of all ages enjoyed the afternoon's activities & entertainment. The mosaics were created by children during workshops over the summer. Face painting, clay modelling and painting were all busy activities during the afternoon(while adults enjoyed the tea, coffee & cakes).
