Afternoon Tea
This morning I felt a bit rough - dodgy aioli I think... Consequently I didn't eat much. I felt fine by lunchtime but just had a snack as I knew there'd be lots of tasty treats at Jeri's later.
There's an extra of Brian. He was adamant that he was not asleep. We all begged to differ!
Zeph came with us, and he gave me presents for mother's day - a book about the role of cats in witchcraft, and a lovely mug.
We went over late afternoon, in time to help with putting this lot together.. Grace joined us too. When Paul arrived home from work it was time to tuck in and enjoy it, and everything tasted as good as it looks.
We played another murder mystery game. This one was a bit more challenging than the last one we played. There was lots to sift through and debate - quite vigorously at times! All the suspects had a motive, so it was just a question of who had opportunity. It was tricky but we cracked the case in the end!
Good job Zeph is off work tomorrow,as we were late coming home! Minstrel was glad to see us as it was well past feeding time!
Now we are going to watch the Challenge Cup game between Warrington and Saint Helens from earlier.
