Sally Mair - Loving life

Sunny Sunday

Hooray, at last we had sunshine when we woke up. Not as warm as last week, but at least there was no haar.
Church this morning and I was serving so got there in plenty of time. A good sermon and a good sing set me up for the week. In Lent we sing the Beatitudes in place of the Gloria and I do enjoy doing so . A Kyiv setting adapted by our former organist and his son (our current organiser).
We decided to go for a wander in Stockbridge this afternoon and managed to buy very little - a print cartridge from the charity shop. All in its packaging and sealed, past it's date but if it works it's a pound well spent as it would have cost at least £13. If it doesn't work £1 is not a very big donation.
We passed the tarta display in one of the delis, I rather think one of these was made in the Borders a few weeks ago post Camino. I may have to go back and try some, it sounds delicious.
