Burton

Out and about for a solo wander around Spitalfields this morning before heading into Central London at lunchtime.

Lives Less Ordinary at 2 Temple Place featured some great work for sure but that review I just linked to is an interesting take on it. On to South Kensington to check out the two exhibitions at The Serpentine (with a much needed cafe stop between the two!) and the Giuseppe Pepone one in particular was very beautiful indeed.

A pint in the sun ahead of some cinema over teatime with a screening of Mr.Burton at The Gate in Notting Hill (verdict from both of us - pretty poor and dull with it) before heading back to our part of town for a Brick Lane curry at one of the few food places that actually still seemed to be serving at the ungodly hour of 9.30pm.

And, whilst the film we saw may have unimpressed, it did at least remind me of one of my favourite 7" records from the last ten or so years.
