Rise up!

And the country did with an estimated 5.2 million protesters. Mainstream media (particularly the right) were either silent about this or downplayed the numbers….

But here is a little run down of a few of the regime’s actions over the past week, which helped fuel the protests, in no particular order:

- speaking of downplaying, Dear Leader set the world’s economy on fire and immediately went to play golf… Meanwhile his Treasury Secretary (who doesn’t know his a$$ from a hole in the ground) stated that retirees are absolutely not worried about their savings and retirement plans melting away…

- ICE (immigration) arrested three 3rd graders (8-yr olds) and has had them in detention centers for a week…

- the tRump tarifs assigned to a couple of uninhabited islands hit penguins hard…

—the Aussie coach for the Olympic MMA team was detained at the border as he came to the US to give a seminar. He was jailed with no explanation other than a vague ‘possible visa issue’

- the offices in charge of the Freedom of Information Act are being dismantled. This is where reporters, lawyers and just regular people could go to ask what is happening in government agencies and why.

- Muskrat’s gang has showed up at Peace Corps offices. That means they are likely next on the chopping block. The Peace Corps is one of the most respected institutions in the US, created by JFK to enlist volunteers to go work abroad for two years in needy countries

- Muskrat was just awarded a $5.9 billion taxpayer-funded SpaceX contract by Trump himself — the largest in a new package of space deals.

- in a race for a seat at the Supreme Court in North Carolina, 60,000 votes have to be reverified and voters have 15 days to show they were eligible to vote at the time… the outcome was already contested twice and confirmed twice but the Republican candidate who lost just can’t let go…

I am probably forgetting some stuff, but I hope I can be forgiven for that: there is just too much crap flowing downhill…
