Moonlighting at the Taj!
Double-shift today. We cooked up a storm in the kitchens of the Taj and spent a couple of hours making ravioli for a function tomorrow. We had such fun although it did get a bit hot under the old collar at times. Vic and I then made supper for us and one of the exec. chefs, which meant a different kitchen, (much hotter) and more chefs! We cooked pan-fired becti (fish) with a medley of steamed seasonal vegetables and some good old mashed spuds...
The waiting staff that see us every morning took a double-take as they saw us on their territory. We're afraid they'll be telling us to get our own toast in the morning!
