Eventful Morning Walk

First Oli didn't want to go past the tactor and irrigation hose reel until I took him closer to see that they were not monsters from another realm.

We walked on to the gate at Freston Brook, but didn't go through as there were cattle in the field; not near the gate, but in the same field. Oli went into the water  (extra) and when I didn't look, went through the fence into the muddy bit in the field. He came back when I called, but on the wrong side of the post. Long story short, He got near enough to me to unhook his lead, but then the clip at the end of the lead got stuck at the furthest point. With one had holding Oli's harness, I had to convince him to move with me nearer to the clip to change the angle to pull it through. At some stage Oli got nervous and when I looked up we had an audience watching the spectacle (extra). I could only took the photo after the lead was safely hooked to the harness again and by then they lost a bit of interest. Before they were standing in a row, watching us, with amused expressions., while the calves running around in the mud.

I was tired today. If I didn't have so much work to do, I would have fallen asleep at my desk.
