Flower beds

The yellow irises as well as a deeper purple than what previously bloomed are blooming now. I have never had so many irises at one time. The other two beds have multiple flowers also.

That mushroom potting soil I spread all over the beds worked really well. I hope it will keep working as the zinnias seeds I planted are sprouting.

It’s raining today but not like it has done in the areas west of us. Tornados have destroyed so much and now flooding in so many places. Unlike the flooding 6 months ago in the Appalachian mountains, these areas are covered with steadily rising water instead of rushing swift water full of trees and debris. Keep these people in your thoughts as they deal with the aftermath.
